Meditation Workshop

An introduction to meditation practices suitable for all those interested in learning or practising meditation. There will be postures to warm and loosen the body; breathing practices to prepare the mind followed by the key principles and practices of meditation to help develop a quiet mind and find peace within.

What to expect

Yoga workshops are longer sessions which focus on a particular theme. You will spend time working on postures, breathing practices, relaxation techniques, and other aspects of yoga such as meditation or philosophy, according to the theme of the workshop.

They are usually held at local village halls in the North Dorset area, which provide a warm, light and airy space to enjoy the practices.

Arrive early if you would like time for a drink and a chat before we begin. There is also a break halfway through the morning where drinks and biscuits are provided.

Booking

Numbers are limited to allow everyone to have plenty of room. Please book in advance.

Products

There will be items available to buy on the day, including yoga mats, mat bags, foam blocks, sandbags, and books. Some information is available on the products page.
